I had a computer buddy that ran a shop in this town for a while & that was the only board he would use. It seemed like he went crazy (literally) the same time QED did. IIRC QED had a hard time with bad caps, more than the rest seemed to.


Daffodil was another.  At the moment I use Gigabyte (but then they aren't
all they were) and MSI (seem Ok and very reliable with AMD).

Hmm, I've never had any problems with Gigabyte & AMD even when they use SIS or VIA but I do like all the nVidia chipsets a little better.
