Hmmm... I'm still fretting a bit about the amount of CPU WMP9 is using. I'm in at work now, on a basically similar system [XP/Pro/XP2/WMP9] and WMP is using exactly _zero_ CPU... but on my at-home system it basically runs at 60- 70% [this while it is *stopped* and not doing anything]. I must have something "enabled" at home, but I can't guess what it might be. I have visualizations turned off. Do you know of any other options or whatever that I might inadvertently have turned on that could be making WMP keep trying to do _something_ all the time? /Bernie\
