I had a similar problem with my 880 which behaved exactly as Gary
describes. Since my next step was to get a new printer, I decide to
CAREFULLY try the Windex suggestions at
http://www.inkjetart.com/tips/cleaning.html, and my printer is now
working again. Good luck if you decide to try it.
