Thanks for the reminders. I did not see too much in Windows Scheduler to worry about, and am trying to get the Drmc "job" to run now on the "other machine". It runs and never seems to do "anything"...
I'll look inside Norton again. I did not see anything in there to "create" this Drmc "job". I generally run Norton (except full time AV) in manual mode and NEVER let it fix things automatically or on it's own...
I never use Norton System Doctor. My computer can get lost or confused
on it's own without having lots of "other stuff" running around looking at or
doing things...

I would advise you to check the scheduler for activities started at midnight, Also I would advise against installing Ghost 9 - stick to the 2003 version
I have however found that if you leave Norton system Doctor running while you uninstall, then the latest versions of the uninstall process do NOT replace your carefully created monitoring profile with the naff one included in the Symantec distribution
And - do remember NSW/Norton utilities are NOT supported on a multi-dual boot/OS system - and Recovery Console makes your system
multi/dual boot, and thus NOT supported.
