to what end?
Everything runs thru memory therefore it's an effort to speed the system up to get more FPS in some games etc.
This mobo is software-clockable so it may be worth me buying the extra speed so I can break it :)
Sounds like a Gigabyte mombo & I'm sure you could break the software long before you break the mombo. Some aspect of the system will start to get flacky & then you'll have to back off on the settings but that's if you start slowly increasing the settings.
If you OC'd it in the bios settings then the system may not boot at all especially if you change the PCI bus speeds.
So the only real advice I have is OC slowly til you find a nice balance between speed & performance.
