The safe is on the ground floor in the admin building which is only two stories
tall it can be subjected to hurricane floods and tornados but such as a
terrorist attack is very unlikely to occur on campus but more so likely to
occur in Wash DC and New York.

The safe has an outter 6 inch thick steel shell with doors and is insulated
with 2 inch thich laminated pressed wood inside. The doors are B rated in terms
of resistance can withstand an internal temp of 125 degrees F with 80% humidity.

Safes are resistance measured by heat, humidity, water, fire, heavy debris,
drills, magnetic flux and torch.
They aren't measured by terms burglar or waterproof. Some safes can withstand a
duration of attack of up to 2 and a half hours depending on the external
thickness of the materials used.

In this case our safe has an external 2 hour duration of attack.

So!
What happens if there is a serious fire in the admin building ..
such that the floors collapse down and the safe ends up on the lowest floor,
covered in hot rubble.

How soon will you be able to get the tapes from the safe?

And - how many days (in heated conditions) is the safe rated for the tape media?
