I quite agree, the rates will be deadly. A prepaid card (like GlobalOne or
something similar) will give much better value with a pay phone or even a
hotel phone.
From Denmark, for instance, you'll typically get at least 150 minutes for
approximately $16. Before we got Skype we used it all the time.
