I actually have some (very expensive) software that was given to me (personally, by name, not job function) to evaluate and my ex employer was very unhappy when I uninstalled it from the PC I was using at their site. And - I'm not sure, but isn't the win2k the property of MS, with permission given for a single use of each purchased licence instance, providing the prospective user agrees to the additional terms and usage limitations presented when they run the install process That leads to questions regarding the rights, and limitations imposed on a user who did not do the install!
