Speaking of which, How can I rename the tabs in FF and have them show
properly when they load? I have been in and renamed the tab under
Bookmarks>Bookmark Manager>Rename and it even shows what I want under their
properties, but when the tabs load, they still have the same titles on them
as they did when they were originally created.

Subject: Tabbed browsiing in IE

I suspect this isn't news to most of you, but this is the most concrete
mention of it I've seen:

I note two things:

1) I don't use/want a 'search toolbar' [and still don't understand why
folk do], and
2) the 'rudimentary' makes it not so attractive: a browser like
Maxthon has a pretty well-done tab setup [and indeed, having now used
it for some time now, I can't *survive* with an untabbed browser any
more!]
