I was hoping for completely free - teranews wants $3.95 to set up an 
account. Maybe I'll make do with Google Groups :-/
I'm not a heavy user but I do have a group that I read daily and when I want 
to get an answer on a programming issue I'm fighting with then usenet can be 
very useful.
