Sure can as you're telling Eudora not to check your email. I have mine at 5
min but you can set it to any value you want other than 0.
From the Help file
Check MailIf this is selected, mail checking is activated for this
personality in the following ways:
· If you have specified a number in the Check for mail every _
minutes option in the Checking Mail options window, then when automatic
mail-checks are performed at these intervals, mail for this personality is
checked as well.
See the 2 values work in conjunction with each other.
