Nope!  They're not hidden any longer.

Nope......her's doesn't have an i386 folder. 

Ok, tell me this:  When I find my discs, exactly what to I install to 
get the Volume Control on the task bar........which may not be the 
problem anyway.

Could be though, but it's all about the microphone.  The 
microphone isn't working, therefore, of course, the Dragon won't 
breathe fire!
