Type ipconfig at the command line in Windows XP an it will ruturn you
something like this
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : pg.cc.md.us.
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.4.1.127
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.252.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.3.3.254

Open a command prompt and type "ipconfig" [on XP... on the older systems it was
something like "winipconfig" or the like]
