26k! So, be happy with your 34k because it can be worse! Comcast finally
made broadband available and I can't see ever going back to dialup.
And the phone company does not always give the best equipment to the nicer
parts of town. I am in a typical middle class neighborhood and get the same
results, 26k. I have been connecting a large variety of customer's computers
to the various ISP's in my area for over 7 years and get no more than 26k. A
friend living in a lower class neighborhood regularly got 44k connects.
