I "used to" get around 15 copies of their postal mailings since
I went to lots of their different stores and no one ever made
any attempt to see if I was already in their (or another stores) database...
ANY minor change would get you entered as a different person, (to them).
This was back before there were good computer programs to "comb"
through a database for dups, so it is somewhat on topic to relate this part
here...
