Speaking of "simple"......that's what I need <smile>.

One of the posts here mentioned "if you dont' care about speed" 
use an older such and such.

DirecWay is on the way here, or so they say (you never 
know...............this is the land of manana) and I'll need to 
network my wife's and my computer.

I have an older router........3, maybe 5 years old.  Does that mean 
that it is "slow" and will slow our connection?

It's a LinkSys Etherfast Cable/DSL router, Model #BESFR41 V2.

Think that piece will be ok, or should I get something more 
current.  It doesn't need to be wireless.
