I've always been able to get rid of NProtected files from within Total Commander by browsing down to the [drive]:\recycled\nprotect\*.* level then deleting the files then up a level & removing the folder. Now exactly what TC does that Windows Exploder doesn't is not in my current realm of knowledge at this time.
