It's easier if you could use the msconfig utility. W2K does not include this valuable utility however, so you would have to copy it from a XP machine. msconfig has a Startup tab that lists various Startup items. There are other utility type programs that will list the startup items, such as WinPatrol, or SpyBot S&D, and various others.
