The upgrade route seems to be more trouble than it's worth, at
least for me. I spent the whole night trying to upgrade and the
install kept hanging at the "updating programs and settings"
step. The installer wasn't very informative as to what was going
on. I finally gave up and did a clean install just to see if the
2k CD was bad or I had a hardware problem. The clean install
went smoothly and I was able to install my chipset drivers and
video driver. I used Ghost to save the install at that point
and reload the 98 image so I can try to save my Pegasus, Agent
and a few other set-ups before going back to 2k.

It took me weeks to get back to somewhere near what I had when I
did the clean install of 98SE. What a pain! Without Ghost I'd be
really up the creek!
