Confused with your answer

I really lost you.

So, when you 1st make the backup, you store it to removable media in chunks?

No.

If so, what does NERO have to do with it?

Nero is used later to store the HD files on CD-Rs or DVDs.
I may have never burned "direct", successfully, to a CD or DVD.
I have a better burner and disks now. Also a faster computer.

If not, are you setting a image split size in TrueImage, backing up to an HD
and then burning to DVD with NERO?

Yes

If so, what is your split size?

It used to be 650m and worked great. I am having a problem with
TI-9 and the DVD SIZE selection. (It selects fine.)

If not, then you are using NERO to split the single backup image to multiple
DVD?

No. I do not know if Nero will split an existing file.

I "used to" size the files with Acronis to 650M and stick them
on the HD (or another HD) for burning with Nero when I got around
to it, (if ever, if I felt lucky...)

My "new problem" is that when sized to DVD size (and still stored
on the HD) they do not verify using the Acronis Boot CD.
They DO verify when booting with Windows.
