I am trying to remove completely Norton system works 2005, & Norton
antivirsus 2005. I have run the uninstall and it claims to have
removed successfully, but when I reboot, Windows installer is trying
top put back missing pieces of Nortons. On their web site they say to
download symnrt.exe to help remove settings from the registry. It
will not download. Is there some other way to either get that
program, or to manually edit the registry. I am tired of Nortons
(symantecs) taking over my computer.

As per suggestions from members of this list I am switching AVG 7.0
with firewall.
