As Carl already mentioned, you can uninstall SP2 if it causes
significant problems for you. As a former SP2 beta tester I can assure
you that only a very small percentage of users have problems with
SP2. Word 97 and older printer drivers should work fine.
The improvements offered by SP2 are well worth it.

that there can be problems with older hardware and software on SP2, and my
worklife will fall apart if I get into trouble with Windows right now. Is
this wrong? I've been holding out, because I'm going to have to get a new
computer at the end of this year, and I figured once the new one was set up
I could take the risk of messing with SP2.
