I'm assuming that the IT person here somehow removed the old user account and
set up this new person, but why didn't the old account info go away, and why
doesn't the new person have a directory hierarchy under Documents and Folders?
Finally, how can I correct this w/o losing the files that the old
user had stored?
In one place you want "the old acct to go away" & in another you want
to keep "the files that the old user had stored". You can't have both.
Sez you! ;-) Why can't I create an account for the new user, move
the files and then remove the old user account? .
Has the new employee even used the computer yet? If not then that
could account for no files or folders under their name even tho they
have an account.
Yes, she has. And My Documents is in the root directory of the C drive!!
Anyway, assuming that the old user's files are put in a safe place, how
do I get rid of the old user if there's no account for the old user??
