And don't forgot the original version full screen and wide screen which was
supplemented by the "special edition" release updated version in 1997. You
could have at least 4 versions right there, not including the THX
version(s)!

I had a salesman tell me back in about 1983 that I should purchase a HI-FI
VHS VCR and hook it up to my stereo as a replacement for a reel-to-reel tape
deck. He said at the time, "everybody is doing it," because the reel-to-reel
is becoming an obsolete dinosaur for the home market. At the time, blank
hi-fi vhs tapes were still pretty expensive, so I stuck with cassettes. 

So some people actually do buy Playboy for the articles! :)
