I lost you slightly... <grin>
The QuickBooks program handles the entire process...
MY BANK does all the "back-end work" and THEY
"sub-out" the Check Features to CheckFree...
I watch my firewall go to all these diffferent places each time
I run the QuickBooks (built-in) Online Banking features...
(It even "calls home" and tells them if things are working...)
I "could" give the program a blanket firewall a "free pass" to the
Internet, but never thought that was a good idea, plus I get
detailed descriptions of what the program is up to while it is
going "outside the box", so to speak... (tin hat time...)
The important part is that it is MY BANK that stands behind
the delivery... That small difference only matters when you have
a problem, and need to "call" someone...
Since this entire thread is titled "Quicken", Maybe I should bring
them up again...
Isn't that no longer supported in the UK, or I guess maybe that
is AU... Opps... (Does not matter to me, yet...)
