I don't seem to rememmber the the old converter boxes.
Were they kind of bulky and converted the VHF channels to UHF?
??? They converted the UHF signals to something that a VHF TV
could use... You might compare it to something like the way a "modern"
VHS recorder takes UHF (and VHF) and puts it all on channel 3 or 4...
Same basic idea...
