I have an interesting situation. I don't have the XP CD so I used the 6
diskettes I downloaded awhile back and used them to get to the recovery
console.
Only problem was that it wanted my administrative password and I never set
one, so I just hit enter and pushed on, but then it just left me with a C
prompt and nowhere to go. So, I figured I'd edit boot.ini and hopefully fix
the
problem, only thing is that I couldn't find any edit program anywhere, does
anyone know if I can do an edit at that point in time, or if not that,
anything else I should have done or tried to do to get my XP repaired?
