Install the new drivers per HP's or Epson's instructions.
If it's an HP printer, the drivers &/or software must be installed
prior to plugging in the printer. If that was not done then you may
have to uninstall the drivers &/or software, unplug the printer from
the computer, reboot, reinstall the software then plug in the printer.
