the best way to get the system to run from C: is a re-install
I am afraid of reinstall since I will have to reinstall all applications
as well hardware drivers again.
You will have to fix any directory specifications on the boot.ini entry
for
0,0,0,0
Then - you can hide the partition 0,0,0,1 and see if the system will boot
from 0,0,0,0
and if so, then you can start adjusting all the shortcuts and other
application entries that refer to the files and applications as being on
'D'
That is why I want to avoid reinstall in the first place.
