Thats OK

But you can cut down the content of C: considerably. by deleting the old
OS -
( rename directories and prove the system still functions before you delete
them )
Or you could install XP as an upgrade to the 98, and get that XP to
'acquire' all the stuff installed under 98.

If you don't have the facilities, and a spare system in which to fix things,
then cowardice is always the better option
( You should see my fluorescent dayglow yellow streak/broadband)

As I said in an earlier email, I have a system that boots XP from the second
primary partition, with the ID set as J:
and the boot.ini in the first Primary partition that is only 250Mb, and is a
DOS & Windows 3.1 OS
The boot.ini on that will also boot into secondary partitions, or onto
various partitions on the other drive, which also has a 250Mb DOS Primary
partition as the first partition
