Not that I know of. What you *can* do is right click on your internet explorer Icon [in your quicklaunch bar, most likely], and select "run as". Pick an admin acct and give its password. When IE opens, type in the address "Control Panel"... now you'll have administrator access to all the control stuff [including add/remove] > I switched user to admin but could'nt remove a program because another > person may be using > the program and the other user must be shut down. I don't *think* you can kill other users from that place [the control panel]. When I need to log off a user or kill a process, what I do is find a shortcut to "command line", right click on it and, again, select "run as" -- and again, run it as an administrator. THEN: at your command prompt type "taskmgr". That'll pop you open an admin-credentialed task manager from which you can kill any process and/or log off any user. /Bernie\ -- Bernie Cosell Fantasy Farm Fibers mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Pearisburg, VA --> Too many people, too few sheep <-- -- ---------------------------------------- The WIN-HOME mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software.
