I think you answered a question I was going to pose to Carl and that is using a
USB connection in an external case rather than a rack system (which seems to be
difficult to do with my system case).
My other question concerns whether to simply copy over everything that is to be
backed up (using, for example, Karen's Replicator) or should I use a program
like Ghost and save the image to the external hard drive?
If the main hard drive dies, a replacement is installed, then would it be
somewhat easy to recreate the original C-drive? I'm thinking of backing up
programs as well as data. Currently I'm using a 160GB external (USB connected)
hard drive for a series of Virtual Drives for testing purposes.
I have another/new 60GB drive which I could use just for backups, especially of
C-drive where most/all of the programs have been installed.
