As for other programs, I use ClipCachePlus for basically that purpose; in
adition to being a clipboard enhancer, I also have "clips" I put in
myself with my name/addr/phone#/emailaddr, etc Probably not quite as
slick as having a button for each, but still it is pretty smooth. [and
you get a clipboard manager to boot..:o)]
I use TypeItIn Pro 2.7.3 & have used ClipCachePlus 2.5 but prefer
TypeItIn. I guess I figure if I need something repeatedly then I can
assign a button to it. I run in the dreaded admin mode all the time
You're a much more sophisticated user than the person using the
machine in question!
since I don't shoot myself in the foot by launching attachments & I
also don't run something like ZA for the same reason.
What do you mean about ZA?
One could run in admin mode but add My Computer to the Security panel
in Internet Options which gives one much more control over active x &
scripting that is run locally.
<http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=315933> &/or run X
Setup 7.0 & tighten security this way &/or via Group Policy Editor
<c:\WINDOWS\system32\gpedit.msc> so you see there are many ways to
tighten security without having to drop out of admin mode.
Good for sophisticated users. :-)
