Personally, I tend to send long lines (132 characters),
in text only messages - with MSOE6,
BUT manually force line breaks (carrage returns)
at something like 50-60 when I see something will not fit
on slightly less than a half width of my computer screen
at 1024x768... (Unless it is a link I do not want to break
for others with a compatible e-mail rending...)
All of the above with NO encoding...

Whatever works, right?

that is when I use the Reply function in Agent I sometimes get a ">plus a line that goes on forever.........." that is, the quoted portion is all one very long line which makes it difficult (for
me) to read and stay on topic. :-) In some cases I've forwarded the message to
myself to "fix" the long line length in the referenced portion. So my question
is
whether this is because the sender is using a very long line length and/or is
there
anything I can do about it other than forward the message to myself? Many
thanks.
