I'm sure most people on this list are aware of the new Intel Macs that were just announced. You're probably even aware that Vista is apparently able to be run on the hardware and possibly XP.
I started researching this in anticipation of an iMac we're getting for testing/development purposes next week. In my searching, I stumbled across this tongue-in-cheek article from The Register. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2001/08/28/microsoft_ports_xp_to_mac/ The SWF file that is referenced still exists (you can see the URL in the screenshot). I looked, though, and that particular slide has been changed by MS to something less Mac-like. What really makes this interesting, though, is the date of that article. It was written in August of 2001, long before anybody would have dreamed that there really would be a way to run Windows on a Mac. -- Troy -- ---------------------------------------- The WIN-HOME mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software.
