I've been asked by a friend how to download TV shows for viewing on a PC or
burning to DVD.
I loaded iTunes and noted it had only a very limited selection of TV
episodes available for purchase.
So I googled and came across tv.org, which appears to be a peer-to-peer
sharing service, with a membership fee requirement. Across the home page
are emblazoned:
"Unlimited TV show downloads"
"Millions of users"
"Never miss an episode again"
"Plus unlimited Movie downloads"
and on the membership signup page:
"100% spyware and adware free"
When I hear "peer to peer file sharing" I tremble (spyware / trojans /
illegal / etc.). Anyone using this and happy with it? Not looking for
in-experienced commentary (I can do that myself), thanks.
thanks,
Carl
