my tablet crashed on the way to ohio - screen says i need to do a
repair but cd and drive are in tn. can someone send me the boot disk
files for ti? restoring an old image beats getting behind on work
since i can't work on the pda. [data and images are on a different
partition<whew>]

send to this addess.

The problem with this request is that TI makes 3 different sets of boot disks; floppy, cdr/w or removable media & the files TI places on these 3 media types are different. The bootsect file on the CD/DVDs are hidden & even UltraIso can NOT extract them. I suspect because they are linux files. On the CD/DVD the file ti.exe does NOT show up anywhere yet it does on the removable media version but for floppies it creates a timage.bin that is approx the same size as the ti.exe & it's loaded into a ramdisk. The floppy version requires 3 disks & splits the timage.bin file so I did a "copy /b timage*.bin timage.bin" which is what the bootwiz.cfg file references then sent all the files to Diane as she requested. FWIW the floppy version files add up to 4meg where as the removable media version the files add up to 16meg & if she needs them then I'll forward them to her off list as well. After all we wouldn't want her to be stranded in Cleveland of all places. ;-)
