Usually 60 days -
Time enough to search the web for AVG etc.
or go buy a boxed copy of NAV
or, what they would prefer, leave it till later and pay even more for an
on-line annual renewal.

And I recently tried changing from blank to Google as the start page on
another system
- and got told off by Symantec after the reboot
(Twice)
I'll let you know any further details after I get at that system again.
