You can do all this inside the program and check out all the
settings in advance. Play as much as you want.
Hint: Get out of the automatic mode right away. It does not
"fit" what you want to do, but would let you confirm that...
Until you hit the COMMIT button at the end,
(which is of course, by definition, final),
you can run as many "what - if's" as you want...
FWIW, I do almost all my Acronis stuff of this type from their
CD boot disks so I KNOW nothing is active in Windows...
For simple types of drives and installation types (single boot, etc)
with or without changing target partition sizes, I have always
been just as likely to use the tools that come with a new drive.
(Update any software "in the HD package" from the WEB
before you try this at home...)
