Is the BIOS configured to test the floppy during power on self test?
If not, enable that, and verify that the floppy light comes on.
If no light, verify that you didn't dislodge the power or data cable
connections while installing the new hard drive.

Subject: HARD:Floppy won't boot

It has been a long time since I booted with the floppy.
The Bios is set to floppy first then CD and last HD.
But it goes straight to the HD on boot.
Grt std. message NTLDR is missing.
Useing W2000 on an Asus A7V
The floppy is working because I have been saving some files to it with
no problems.
The reason I need to boot to it is to FDISK a new hard drive.
Any suggestions?
Sam
