Does Win XP-pro have a native compression utility like Winzip?

From: "Carl Houseman"
Yes. It's called "compressed folders" and it reads and creates files that
are compatible with Winzip.

Be careful with Zipped ENCRIPTED files.
WinZip "CAN" create files encripted with 256 AES and those will
appear to be just "broken", in Win-XP, (and not open).
Any created with the Zip 2.0 (standard encription) will be fine.
