Here's another thing to try: In Outlook Express... Tools / Options / General tab At the bottom, under "Default Messaging Programs" If it says "this application is NOT the default mail handler" click Set Default.
Another way: In Windows Explorer, choose Tools, Folder Options On the File Types tab, select "URL:MailTo Protocol" and click Advanced. Select the Open action and click Edit. Set the "Application used to perform action" to "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /mailurl:%1 (double quotes required) Check mark for "Use DDE" DDE message: <leave or make blank> Application: msimn DDE Application not running: <leave or make blank> Topic: System If neither of these helps, look again at these settings to see if they stuck. If they were changed, then Mozilla is actively putting things back the way it wants them.
