Keep the chocolate biscuits as a pacifier when you tell her that you cannot recover/retrieve her data. ( let her eat 1, then with the others within her reach, tell her, and go to make a cup of hot chocolate )
---------------------------- Also - re setup of system move internet temp stuff to second partition on drive move email to somewhere within the user's profile, and make sure it gets backed up somewhere else. For my users I use DOS 'Bat' script to put stuff into a main recovery directory, and from there pull the 'new' stuff (by date) into a 'dated' directory - both on their second drive. If they lose their entire profile, I can recover it - either using 'my' admin level id within their OS installation or, after recovering their OS to a state where they can use it, from the OS on the second drive and - all I need is a facility to un-hide that second OS partition .. That is assuming they don't delete that partition .. in which case it's restore from the DVD based image of that partition, the one that I keep.
