Ok, Tim. I have already done this from the A prompt(format c:/s). I had the win98 folder on the bootable disk(CDROM). After this completes the formatting, do I just restart and let it come back to the A: prompt and type in A:\win98\setup and let it load from the win98 folder that I put on the bootable CDROM? Jim

The partition you just created should now be assigned a "drive letter". That being the case, you can run the format command from the floppy and direct it at the new partition.
