Ah! I forgot to mention :

When selecting a laser printer check the footprint and height clearance
needed - including the input tray
And - where does the output go - cascaded onto the desktop, or into a
pull-out holder.
Also - if considering a colour laser so you can get rid on the colour
inkjet - consider the noise made while it's printing -
I stuck a HP in for one manager, and found it wasn't being used because the
manager couldn't use the phone for the noise while it was printing
