I tried resizing my NTFS primary active C partition yesterday with
Partition Magic 8, but it ran into an error and said becuase of the error,
no changes were made. Now thogh, it doesn't boot. It keeps on going to
the "Windows didn't start right last time, try safe boot, last good config,
ect" but all the options just get it to boot again.
I used the boot disks for Partition Magic and all the partitions are there,
but what was C: with now a 28 gig active NTSF partition with no unused
space and a name of ????????
Couldn't even do a directory in the recovery console from the XP boot disk.
I'm going to just remove that drive for now and reinstall XP on another
partition. When I have more time to mess with it, I'm going to put that
drive back in as a slave and try to get stuff off it. Any suggestions on
what to use? Free if possible because I'm really not going to be getting
much off it.
It'd be nice to have the whole partition back, but not to worried about
it. It's an old p4 1.?Ghz, but kind of new to me, so I'm not loosing much.
