Thank you for the response. You advise, accepting all Office updates, understood, but I only installed "2" (Word & Excell) of the "6" Office 2002 programs. I have seen updates for Outlook, but do not have, etc. Could there be components in the Outlook updates and others that I did not install that might be beneifical to the Word & Excell that I did install. Your thoughts.

I'd also advise, accept _all_ of the Office updates, because many of
those updates are in fact security fixes, that may not show up in the
regular Windows update.

The rest are optional, but for XP at least, they seem generally OK.
