Yes, it can be uninstalled (and will likely require uninstalling prior to
installing the final release).

I always counsel end users to leave well enough alone, but they rarely pay
attention.  There are still bugs in the latest download, but they're minor.
If you're easily offended, best to stay away from it.

Much better tabbed browsing (better than anything, even Firefox, IMHO) with
full IE compatibility is available with Maxthon.
