Has anyone managed to install Eudora on a USB drive to make it portable? If so, would you tell me how you did it, or refer me to directions? The information I've found is very conflicting.

I have installed Eudora 5.1.1 on a Scandisk 512mb flash drive, and carry it with me to use on nearly any more or less up to date PC. It's tricky, but works just fine. Note that my main Eudora is v7.0.1.0 - BUT - this version works on most every computer I run in to, ie 98>SP Pro. There is probably a better way to do it, but if so, I'm not aware. One has to alter the eudora.ini file in several places when trying to use it on a strange machine!!! However, this is quick and easy if one knows what's needed. Basically, it involves changing the drive letter in several places to match the letter the strange machine offers. If this info is wanted, just let me know - through the list, or, directly.
