there should be a spare copy on your hard drive here:
C:\WINNT\winsxs\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_ (- snip -)
or
C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_ (- snip -)
( at least there is here, with W2K )
